Abstract

16,132. Ehrich & Graetz. July 31, 1913, [Convention date]. Overhead incandescent lamps. - In an inverted incandescent lamp using compressed gas and having a globe 6 closely surrounding the mantle, the internal air supply is heated in a chamber 9 by means of heat-conducting ribs 16 on the burner head or the lower end of the mixing-tube. In the form shown, the chamber 9 is provided with air inlets 8 near the level of the ribs 16, the chimney 14 being widened at this point.
