Abstract
14,875. Schmidt, A. W. June 20. Sound - boxes; tool arms and mountings.-The diaphragm is mounted in gaskets 12 and enclosed within a casing 2, 3, 4, within which is also placed a floating weight 8 of non-metallic material such as wood guided loosely upon screw pins 7. An external ring 10 is connected to the weight by screws 9 movable in slots in the casing. The hook 14 and rod 15 which connect the diaphragm to the stylus lever 16 are preferably of wood. The stylus 18 is set in a screw 19 which is mounted in a socket at the end of the stylus lever. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 22,305/04 and 16,150/11.
