Abstract

19,045. Connare, J. M. Aug. 19. Couplings. - A wall socket for an electric adapter, which may be fitted flush with a wall, consists of a porcelain disk B fastened by means of a screw to a porcelain block D containing spring contacts E protected by a metal casing D<1> having a flange provided with countersunk holes for fixing the socket to the wall. Bayonet slots H are provided to receive the pins of the adapter. The contacts are covered when the adapter is removed by a cover G, pivoted at C and clamped to the flange F when covering the contacts by a clip b.
