9714. Spinney, R. D., and Rolls-Royce, Ltd. April 20. Seat adjustments.-An adjustable chair or other seat, specially adapted for use as a seat for the driver of a motor-vehicle, comprises a seat proper a pivoted at e to a back a<1>, which is pivoted at f to a base. The front of the seat is supported by a rotatable eccentric device b mounted in a bracket c and operated by a handle d, by which means various inclinations of the seat and back may be obtained, as indicated diagrammatically in Fig. 3.
