Abstract

7947. Smith, E. March 30. Brackets, lamp. -A lamp bracket for road vehicles &c. comprises an attachment plate 1, on the upper end of which the lamp is mounted, and which is integral with an arm 2 adapted to jut under an enlargement 5 on the candle tube 4 and to prevent this tube from becoming detached. The arm 2 may be forked, as shown at 3, or tongued, ringed, &c., and may have a slot 2a in which fits an eye or catch 6 on the lamp for receiving a cotter pin, padlock, &c.
