Catches, spring.-The legs of a folding table &c. are held in the open and folded positions by a slide f connected by a link g to a bar b, which carries the legs and is hinged at c to the table top. The slide f moves in guides e fixed to the table top and is held in one of two positions by pins on a blade spring h attached to the slide f engaging holes k in the guides e. The slide f can be moved in its guides by a frame l having bevelled portions m, m<1> adapted to release the pins from the holes 7c.
