Abstract

12. Weill, R. Jan. 2. Folding tables. - A tea table a is provided with a series of guides c on the underside of the top forming spaces into which separate s m a l l folding tables may be placed. The main table is provided with folding end shelves b, and the small tables are formed with a central part f fitting in the spaces under the main table, and with hinged flaps g. The legs of the folding table are carried by crossed members m, n pivotally connected together, and stops q are provided on the underside of the flaps to limit the movement of the legs when open. Buttons i on the parts f serve as handles in withdrawing the tables. The tables may be ejected by a spring s, Fig. 6, in which case a catch v is provided for holding the tables in position when stowed away.
