Tread bands; tyre attachments to rims.-A tread band a has notched sides h to which are riveted metal pieces d engaging the heads of bolts e passing through holes in the rim g and holding metal plates h, which form segmental channels bearing against inflatable tubes k lying against the inside of the rim. The position of the plates on the bolts can be varied by nuts i, i<1> to adjust the tension of the sides of the tread band due to the inflation of the tubes. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) states that the air-tubes k may be sectional. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
