Abstract

4047. Schurig, [nÚe PalmiÚ], M. - Feb. 17. Sheets for use in hospitals, hotels, &c., to protect the sleeper from the ordinary bedding, are provided at the edges with eyelets 6 through which pass the fastening bands 2 on the mattress cover described in Specification 3535/14, [Class 52(ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon]. Hooks 3 secure the sheets to the mattress. The lower sheet 4 is made wide enough to cover the bed pillow. The upper sheet 5 tapers towards the foot, and at the top is turned back over the bedding above, to which it is secured by safety-pins 8 on bands 7.
