[Cognate Application, 14,786/15.] Bed rests and lifts.-A bed rest and lift comprises a strip of material a adapted to pass round the back of a patient and connected to the lower end of the bedstead by means of straps b, b<1>, c, c<1>, attached to the top and bottom corners of the material and passed round a bar d of the bedstead frame. The material is sloped backwards as shown at a<1>. A seating-flap e may be provided.
