3441. Brown, G. Feb. 10. Syringes.-A nozzle for a syringe in which the spray-producer acts as a valve to give free passage on the suction stroke of the syringe comprises a tapered shell a' screwed to the end of the syringe, within which is a correspondingly tapered sliding member b, the inward motion of which is limited by the perforated stop c. The spray-producer is drilled to form a chamber b<6> which communicates with the chamber a<5> by means of tangential holes b<5>. The chamber b<6> is partially closed by a screwed sleeve b<7> having a countersunk end. The sprayproducing member may be readily changed to give different degrees of fineness as required.
