Abstract

24,663. Triumph Cycle Co., and Hathaway, C. W. Oct. 30. Motor - cycles; gearboxes, mounting. - The engine and the countershaft gear-box E are secured to the frame A by lugs C, B, D, and are connected together by a lug F, the gearbox being thus readily detachable. The lugs D, F are slotted to allow the tension of the driving-chain K to be adjusted, and the coacting parts of these lugs are machined so that the correct alinement of the gear-box is ensured. The lugs C, B, D also serve, respectively, as attachments for the silencer Y, the foot-rests Z, and the chain-stays H.
