Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and pneumatic cushions.-The rigid and inflatable tubular rim 4 has fixed and detachable side flanges 5, 6 sliding over the sides of the felloe 2, and is formed with radial guides 9 containing pistons 11 with closed ends bearing on the felloe band 1. Normally, the interior of each piston communicates through apertures 13, 10 with the tubular air chamber, but this communication is cut off to form single compression chambers on displacement.
