Abstract

20,030. Nagel, H. Sept. 4. Operating tables.-An ambulance wagon for military purposes is provided with a medicine chest containing another chest, for bandages &c., which can be converted into two operating- tables. The bandage chest has hinged flaps 26, 28, 30 on two of its sides which can be opened to form tables, each table having a central recess and a hole 27<a>. The flaps 26 are supported by hinged brackets, and the flaps 28 by legs 31. Each leg has a clip 35 for holding the flaps 30 and 28 together when folded, and a clip 33 for engagement with brackets on the flap 26. Folding lids 22 can be supported in a raised position by folding supports 22<a>. Drawers 19, 20, 21 are provided for bandages &c., and the chest is closed by doors 36.
