Folding furniture.- In trunks or other articles convertible into tables &c. and provided with folding legs, the legs 2, Figs. 2 and 3, have an enlarged rectangular slotted part 5, which is adapted to embrace and turn in a hinge member 3 made integral with the corner plate 7. Recesses 8, 10 in the part 3 engage the parts 5, 9 of the leg, a spring 4 maintains the leg in the recesses, and lugs 13 having lips 14 serve as stops for the lug. To fold the leg against the bottom of the trunk &c, it is moved, against the action of the spring 4, out of engagement with the recesses 8, 10 and is then rotated.
