7906. Vaughan, E. April 4. Castors.-In a castor in which the horn carries a sleeve or socket to receive a pintle on the bedstead, table, or other leg, the pintle 1 is secured to the socket 2 and the socket to the horn 3 by a single keeper spring 13. This spring, which may be shaped as shown, engages slots in the socket and a groove in the pintle, and projects across the closure plate 10 of the lower of two sets of ball bearings 8, 9.
