Abstract

16,288. Faulkner, J. H. July 7. Cabinets.-Relates to a cabinet, case, &c. convertible into a table and one or more seats. The sides B, hinged to the base A, are turned down to form a table, after the release of catches B', C' connecting the sides to the ends E, which may contain sliding drawers F and be capable also of being turned down. The base A has pivoted thereto legs G, and also stays J carrying struts K, the ends of which are square to enter sockets in the legs G. The legs, stays, and struts are secured in the folded position by clips. The lid of the cabinet is fitted with similar folding legs to serve as a seat, or seats where it is in several parts. The bottom is provided with rubber or rubber-covered studs giving clearance for the folded legs.
