Abstract

19,256. Coffman, C. J., and Vliet, H. J. van. Aug. 25. Actuating.-A lift valve, of the type opened against the action of a spring by pressing the receiving-vessel against an actuating-lever, has the lever provided with a projection adapted to take against the casing to hold the lever in the correct position for actuating. The valve member 15 is formed integrally with a stem 14, guided in a recess in a cap 12 and passing out through the lower side of the outlet nozzle. The actuating-lever 18 is pivoted in lugs 17 on the outlet 6 and has a projection 21 adapted to bear against the casing.
