Pilot jets.-An incandescent vapour lamp is ignited by a small vaporizer which is arranged in the starting- cup, and comprises a perforated tube containing a metallic wick and provided with fuel inlets 37 and a cover carrying a tube 38 through which the vapour escapes, this being ignited by the starting- cup flame.
