Dark slides.-A device for indicating when the plate in the dark slide has been exposed includes an indicator which comes into operation only when the dark slide is used in the camera. The shutter f, Figs. 1 and 2, of the dark slide i carries a spring strip b, which tends to lie against the shutter f and behind a projection d on the dark slide i, and has an indicating-flange a which is normally covered by the flange c of the shutter f. When the shutter f is being closed after an exposure, a fixed inclined projection e on the camera engages the end of the spring strip b and moves it to the front of the projection d, thereby causing the flange a to appear under an opening h in the flange c. The projection e may be carried by a slide g, which is moved to lock the dark slide in place on the camera.
