Raft-launching apparatus.-Rafts b are stowed on the underside of decks of vessels, piers, landing stages, &c. on hinged platforms a which can be lowered by tackle c to a slanting position, thus allowing the rafts to slide into the water. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 4006/75, [Class 114, Ships &c., Div. II.]. This case is also in Class 115.
