Thread-guides.-In lappets of the kind described in Specification 24,059/07, the shank of the thread-guide is bent at right-angles, passed through a hole in the front wall of the lappet and adjustably secured in a slot a' in the side or top or bottom wall thereof. The shank may be bent more than once as shown at b<10>, Fig. 4, and its rear end may be provided with a detachable extension.
