Rod couplings. - In couplings for attaching side-cars to motor and other cycles in which the extremities of two members projecting respectively from the side-car, and the cycle are arranged to overlap and are secured by a bolt passed transversely through them, the side-car and cycle are each provided with a pair of projecting lugs which mutually overlap and are secured by two bolts. The member b carried by the side-car is forked or arranged in equivalent manner, and each of the links b<1> is recessed at b<2> and adapted to fit upon the ribbed lugs a<3> of the clip a on the cycle, the limbs and lugs being secured together by a pair of bolts passing through holes c. The bolts are tightened by nuts, the heads of the bolts being prevented from turning by projections b<3> on the upper face of the limbs.
