Handle-bars for cycles, motor-cycles, &c. are fitted with a pair of double joint members d, e, which, about horizontal axes l, make adjustable connexions with the handle-bars b, and, about a vertical axis h, make direct adjustable connexion with each other and one, c, with the handle-bar stem a or its lug c. The joint surfaces may be toothed or serrated as shown; or the serrations may be upon separate washers.
