Handles.-A box spanner for use with gas cocks or taps is provided with a cotter pin c adapted to engage one of the angular edges of the part to which the spanner is applied to lock the spanner in position. A nut mounted upon a screw-threaded extremity of the cotter pin or any other means may be provided to prevent the cotter pin from working loose.
