Inserted wrenches ; multiple wrenches.-A ratchet multiple wrench, especially adapted for operating the unions or nipples on radiators, has a number of nipple-engaging sections 2 .. 6 of different sizes extending outward from the centre of the main member 1, each section having diametrically opposite grooves 9 adapted to be loosely engaged by corresponding lugs 8 on the interior of the nipples 7. A ratchet disk 10 is secured to the main part 1 and is surrounded by an open-sided annular casing 12 having a detachable flange 14 secured to it by screws 15 on one side. An extension 16 of the casing 12 contains a spring-controlled ratchet plunger 18, which may be lifted by a knob 23 and rod 20 out of engagement with the ratchet 10, to reverse its bevelled end 19 so as to allow it to work the ratchet in the opposite direction.
