Abstract

21,023. Klaber, A. D. Sept. 16. Roller copying-presses.-A web b of copying- paper while passing from a rotary letter-copying machine to the delivery roller d, is associated at one side with a strip f unwound from a roll mounted on a spindle e<1> and either gummed on both sides previously to being used on the machine, or by brushes &c. on the machine. This fastens the various layers of copying-paper on the roll d together, so that on being cut transversely by the knife x they form a set of sheets held together at one side and ready for filing. A spring-pressed flanged roller h regulates the tension on the strip f. The copying paper may be of the " permanently moist " kind.
