Abstract

17,203. Bedwell, E. July 24. Folding tables.-The legs of folding tables are provided with spring fasteners F which automatically lock the leg when erected. A leg E is pivoted in a block C secured to the table and has a slot G in which is located a spring fastener F of the form shown, and comprising a tail-piece P bearing on an adjusting-screw L, a springy shank 0, and a handle Q. The fastener automatically engages a pin K, and is released therefrom by pressing the handle Q. The fastener may be of stamped metal or bent wire.
