Abstract

Piston valves; casings.-An auxiliary air valve for insertion between a carburettor 4 and inlet pipe 3 with a minimum displacement of these parts, comprises a flange 6, Fig. 1, the lateral extension 10 of which has an air inlet passage 8 leading to a spiral passage 7 which gradually decreases in width as it approaches the mixture passage 9. The air which enters through holes 26 is controlled by a piston valve 27 actuated by a Bowden wire 17.
