Abstract

15,569. Seck, H. July 3. Endless-chain conveyers with slat and lath carriers.-A structure for carrying a series of conveying-plates comprises spaced plates 36, which may be perforated as at 42 to reduce bulk, threaded on cross-rods 37, and secured by nuts 44 and washers 45. The ends of the plates are rolled over to form sleeves 38, and small tongues 39 are bent back parallel to the plate. The carrier plates 1 are slid into position between the tongues 39 and the plates 36. The plates may be formed of woven wire. Edge plates 41 may be formed integral with or bolted to.the plates 36.
