Cleats. - Electric insulators serving as grips for flexible wire pendants are formed with channels B,B' enlarged as at C, C<1> for the reception of the flexible wires H and provided with a hole for the supporting-screw d or the like. They may be of prismatic form, and the passage for the supporting - device may be vertical or horizontal, and the insulator grip may be carried on rods or wires. According to the Provisional Specification, the grip may be supported bv a grooved pulley on a rod or arm such as is described in Specification 10,780/12, [Class 36, Electricity, Conducting &c.], and recesses and bevelled edges may be provided to facilitate fixing in corners. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 17,581/91 and 4764/92, [both in Class 36, Electricity, Conducting &c.].
