Abstract

Clip brackets; securing.-A device for securing electric conductors to insulators consists of two coacting binder-plates secured together by a tightening-screw in such a way as to force the conductor laterally away from the insulator. The carrier plate A slips over the head C<X> of the insulator C and sits on the recessed neck and has an open channel D for the reception of a telegraph wire or the like E. The bow-shaped clamping plate I is drilled to take a screw G which, on tightening, clamps the plate against the insulator and simultaneously clamps the wire in the channel of the carrier plate.
