Insulators; conductors, supports or holders for.- Conductors are attached to insulators by means of a clip consisting of a ring 2 with one or more articulations 1, and a bolt 6 and fly-nut 7 or other convenient means for attaching the ring to the insulator. The ring is bent up as shown at 3, and a plate 8 is supported against the vertical parts of the bent-up portion, so that on tightening the ring on to the insulator, the conductor 10 is gripped firmly between this plate 8 and a second plate 9 depending from the transverse part of the bow 3. Specification No. 461, A.D. 1904, is referred to.
