Abstract

26,600. Parra, H. Nov. 25, 1912, [Convention date]. Suspending and supporting.-Conductors are secured to insulators by a collar b, Fig. 1, provided with shanks c and a sliding strap d, which is placed as shown in Fig. 5 round the neck of the insulator a. The strap d is then moved down to the neck and the conductor e is placed between the insulator and the shanks, the shanks being then wound round the conductor. The hooks h of a locking-stirrup g are then engaged with eyes f on the ends of the shanks e and the locking-collar is turned downwards into the groove or neck of the insulator. Specification 9520/12 is referred to.
