13,111. Anderson, J. P., and Fritts, C. E. June 4. Cable terminals ; two-part couplings.-A terminal 1, adapted for connexion to the fittings 3 on a switchboard for street railways &c., has a tapered socket 8 integral therewith and adapted to receive a tapered plug 10 on a by-pass conductor 9 in the case of a break-down of the switches &c., so that the service may not be interrupted. The feeders 7 are secured to the terminals by means of sockets 6, and the tapered plug is held in place by a nut screwing on the end thereof.
