Portable gas stoves; grilling-stoves.-A reversible gas-burner for boiling or grilling is carried within a frame and may be reversed without interfering with the gas supply. The frame a has a tubular part b carrying the stem l of the burner k. A tubular handle e having a nipple h and an air-hole is connected by flanges c, d having an asbestos or other non- conducting washer f between them, to the tubular part b of the frame. A pivot m is provided at the end of the burner opposite the stem l, supported by a clip screwed to the underside of the frame a, and carrying a key q by which rotation is effected. A stop p on the burner engages projections p<1> on the frame to limit the motion of the burner. A concave deflector u for use in grilling is loosely carried by bolts t in lugs r on the burner, and drops away from the burner when it is used for boiling. Legs i and supports j for utensils are cast on the frame. The burner may be of circular, oval, triangular, oblong or other shape.
