2932. Dixon, H. H. Feb. 5. Vehicle windows.-Relates to vehicle windows which slide in channelled guides pivotally mounted in the upper portion of the door or other frame so that the sash may be lifted out over the weather rail. According to the present invention, the guides b<1> in the lower portion of the door &c. are also arranged to move relatively to the door, and may be loosely pivoted at b<6> in the door grooves b<5> and hinged at b<3> to the guides b<1> in the upper portion of the door &c. The joint between the guides b<1> is covered by a plate b<7> carried by one of the guides; and the sash is held in any open position by the engagement of a spring stud c', mounted on and projecting through the guide b<1>, with recesses a<2> in the sash A.
