Tyre attachments to rims; tyres with rims enclosing air tubes or chambers.-In tyres comprising rigid cheeks r and an annular slotted tread member s divided into a series of soles and adapted to move between the cheeks on transverse connecting-bolts, the tread member consists of an inner annular part s<1> preferably made of canvas and rubber in which the boltslots are made, and a rubber or like tread part forming a series of soles, the tread part being arranged to cover the slots. The cheeks may have extensions f so as to be adaptable to wheels with metal rims.
