Abstract
115,048. Cardoso, A. Oct. 30, 1916 Metallic spring bodies and cores.-The wheel comprises a central rigid disk c, a rigid arm e spaced from the rim d of the disk, hub rings h yieldingly supported on the axle and flexible cords g which pass from the rings h, through the rim d, and are wound about the rim a. The outer tyre consists of a series of resilient rings n, n', which may be fitted with a rubber tread r, or with an enclosing cover, the rings being connected to the rim a and to one another by flexible cords g<1>, g<2>. The rings n, n<1> may be separated by rubber strips t, or by pins &c. m, m<1>.
