Electric and magnetic appliances. - An antirheumatic belt is fitted with combined galvanic and magnetic elements each of which consists of a copper blank 1 formed with one or more recesses 2 into which zinc disks 3 are stamped so as to be held firmly. A plate 4 of magnetized iron or steel is attached by soldering or otherwise to the back of the element. The combined elements may be attached to the belt by means of backwardly-extending prongs 5 to be clenched over, or ,as shown in Fig. 6, they may be formed with perforated ears 7 to be stitched to the belt. In the modification shown in Fig. 6, the zinc disk is held in a perforation in the copper blank, and the piece stamped out of the copper blank is similarly held in a zinc blank.
