Abstract
1900. Bennett, C. N. Jan. 24. [Addition to 1642/11.] Kinematograph apparatus optical-projection apparatus.-The method of moving the film a number of pictures at a time corresponding to the number of colour filters employed, as described in the parent Specification, is applied to projection apparatus. The images are superposed on the screen by angular adjustment of the lens A<1> about the pivot A<2>. The lenses A<1>, B<1> may be provided with iris or other variable diaphragms to regulate the relative intensities of the projected colour records. Separate lantern bodies combined with separate sources of illumination may be used for the different colour records, the light beams being directed, if necessary, upon the picture gate by prisms or mirrors.
