[Addition to 3543/10.] Detachable-rim attachments to wheels. -To reduce the number of adjusting-devices for attaching rims of the kind described in the parent Specification, rubber or like blocks A carried by the auxiliary rim C are adapted to be turned into engagement with the ordinary rim D, as shown in Fig. 2. To limit the compression of the blocks, rods or tubes F may be embedded therein, or the brackets G may be suitably extended. Fig. 3 shows a modified adjusting- means, in which the ordinary rim is clamped between a washer H, which may be integral with the bolt I, and a flanged nut P. Referring to Fig. 6, relative rotation of the nuts S, U may be prevented by means of a pin R on the one engaging a slot T in the other, or by interengaging projections W, W<1>.
