Abstract

28,885. Ashton, J. Dec. 22. [Addition to 3544/11.] Tyre attachments to rims,. detachable-rim attachments to wheels,-A detachable rim of the kind described in the parent Specification is in two parts 1 connected by transverse bolts 9, and one part of the rim is formed with stiffening-stays 15. The fixed and detachable rings 6, 3 for securing the rim to the wheel are formed with seatings 7, 4 respectively for the flanges 14 of the detachable rim members. The device may be applied to metallic felloes such as are used with wire-spoked wheels.
