Rims; tyre attachments to rims.-In wheels of the kind which are formed of halves joined by welding in the mid-plane of the .wheel, the halves of the rim are integral with the corresponding halves of the wheel and are joined by welding at b, one half of the rim being bent as shown at b<1>, b<2> to receive one tyre edge, and the other being formed with a groove b' to receive a split detachable flange C, as described in Specification 8101/06. The bent metal which forms the groove lies in the hollow of the felloe and, preferably, the outer side of the groove lies against the side a' of the felloe.
