Detachable-rim attachments to wheels.-Twin detachable rims carrying elastic tyres which, as shown, may be of different types, are secured upon the wheel by means enabling one tyre with its complete detachable rim device to be removed for repair &c. In the arrangement shown, the solid tyre p is secured between a fixed angle ring d and a detachable flange g by bolts h. The other tyre is mounted on a rim a similarly secured between rings d, g, but, in this case, the ring d is carried on a supplementary ring i detachably secured to the felloe e by bolts o. The invention is stated to be particularly applicable to the detachable rim device described in Specification 9560/06.
