Pipe cutters; pliers. -An adjustable plierlike pipe wrench or cutter is provided with two levers 1, 4 one of which passes through the jaws 3 of the other lever, a screw nut 5 on the lever 1, a plate 6 between the screw nut 5 and the jaw 3, and a rib or ribs 7 upon the jaw or the plate, situated in approximately the same plane as the front surface of the lever 1, and serving as a fulcrum for the jaw.
