Abstract
8933. Green, F., and Walker, S. April 24. No Patent granted (Sealingfee not paid). Cutters.-A device for cutting cloth patterns with a serrated edge has one jaw provided with a serrated cutting-blade B, and the other jaw B<1> provided with a yielding surface or stop B<2> of brass, wood, &c. One or more guides E may be attached to the jaw B<1>. The jaws are mounted upon a known system of levers A, A<1>, L commonly used in connexion with wire nippers. In a modification, the serrated cutting-blade and stop may be arranged longitudinally of the levers L. The jaws are normally kept open by a spring S. A stop-pin G may be provided on one of the handles.
