Liquid and gaseous fuel furnaces. - Oil-gas firing apparatus for use in connexion with all kinds of furnaces comprises oil-gasifying and air or other gas heating tubes d, g heated by liquid-fuel burners b and delivering to a common port e where combustion takes place. The air tubes are arranged in sets connected in series by end chambers k, and each of the uppermost tubes is provided with an oxygen supply pipe h. Oil is injected into the tubes d through sprayers c, either by a pump or by means of air, oxygen, steam, water gas, or carbon-monoxide; or these gases may be supplied alone to one or more of the tubes d. Additional supports m for the tubes may be provided.
