Spray burners.-Consists mainly in the adaptation to an injector of a chamber D in which the stream of liquid fuel and the impelling-medium are broken up, subdivided, and heated, before they escape by the nozzle E into the furnace or other heating-apparatus. F is the liquid-fuel delivery pipe, and A the connection for the steam or other impelling-medium. A spiral plug G is fitted to subdivide and impart a twist to the stream of fuel &c. as it enters the chamber.
