Gases, treating with electric discharge; resistance furnaces. - For the production of hydrogen peroxide, a mixture of equal volumes of hydrogen and oxygen, produced electrolytically in cells A, is acted on by arcs or sparks between ring-shaped electrodes G, G', or by an electrically heated wire. The peroxide thus produced is dissolved in a spray H of water, the solution collecting in a funnel F.
